This was taken at the beach near my office. I was there for lunch (which is where you'll find me most days, weather permitting). (Be patient with me Eddy - I'm trying to learn the art of a straight horizon!) It was an overcast day, and the tide was going out.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my photos. And for those who left a comment - a double thank you!

You've caught the plane right on top of the ship. Excellent.

I can understand why you go there for lunch. When I lived on the east coast I would sit on the beach and look out at the ships and wonder about the people on them and where they are from. Thanks for bringing that back to me.

It must be great to live by the coast, the thought of wandering down to the beach every lunchtime......perfect. Nice shot, I like the way the plane and boat line up in the overall blueness.

OTOH, the world is not flat; horizons do not need to be straight. Movement changes perspective. Don't get hung up on straight lines.
However, that being said, the straight line of this particular horizon, plus the imaginary straight vertical line running thru both plane and boat makes for a very interesting photo.

Looking up.....looking down.....dreary winter ocean! So, you were lucky to get the ship and plane at the same time! Makes for nice diversion!
