This was taken from my balcony. It's the intersection near a school for little ones. See the red-brown colour on the road? Our roads are made of ground coral which is like ice when wet. Where there are critical points in the road they use this non-coral road surface. It's easy to stop quickly on! And if you notice, there are many running the red light too!
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my photos. And for those who left a comment - a double thank you!

Lots of action and congestion. That's a very interesting story about the road construction.

I love the way the lens has compressed the image, what a great view, a photography paradise.

It's hard to believe they use that type of road surface seeing as it must rain there on ocassion. I'm also amazed by the number of power lines in this shot, quite a tangled mess. I like how you composed the bend in the road.

Aside from environmental considerations, one might ponder the wisdom of making a road surface that potentially slick as you described.

So mnay lines and curves and wires....a shot that drwas attention! I'm only too familiar with such a sight! Minus the ground coral used for roads! (Is there so much coral that they can use it for roads?????I remember I could not walk the beach or enter into the sea without wearing sandals, because of the coral!)

interesting wire work some people just disregard the red light and most of the time its the innocent who pay for it

The little greenish car in the foreground somehow catches my eye as being more careful than the rest, or more vulnerable.
